Kirstie Levell is hoping to play her part in Everton Ladies taking home derby day spoils on Sunday – after working hard to mould her game on Blues keeper Jordan Pickford.
The 21-year-old has been the Ladies' number one for the past three games but it was in the FA Women’s Cup tie at Durham that part of her game drew comparisons to men’s number one Pickford.
Having edged fellow keeper Lizzie Durack to the number one jersey in recent weeks, Levell is eager to kick on and prove she should keep her place in the final weeks of the season, starting with the trip to Prenton Park on Sunday to take on Liverpool in WSL 1 (2pm kick-off).
