Everton left-back Leighton Baines has praised David Unsworth's for his 'top drawer' efforts as caretaker boss after scoring the winner in a dramatic 3-2 comeback over Watford on Sunday.
Unsworth stepped up from the under 23s two weeks ago to take temporary charge following the sacking of Ronald Koeman and oversaw three away defeats before the victory over the Hornets at Goodison Park.
Baines, scorer of the decisive penalty against Marco Silva's side, told Everton TV: 'It makes it extra special.
'He (Unsworth) has been top drawer.
