Leicester to escape FA charge for Jamie Vardy masks... as Gareth Barry reveals Foxes do not hold same fear they posed in title-winning season

Leicester will not face any FA disciplinary action after they put 30,000 Jamie Vardy masks on supporters’ seats for the Boxing Day match against Everton at the King Power Stadium in protest at the striker losing his appeal against a three-match ban.

Vardy was sent off for a two-footed challenge on Stoke’s Mame Biram Diouf earlier this month, with referee Craig Pawson deeming the foul reckless enough to warrant a straight red.

The reigning Premier League champions protested against the decision to uphold the original decision as they encouraged fans to wear the masks inside the stadium during their clash with the Toffees.
