The future generation of footballing females came face-to-face with their Everton Ladies role models Monday night, as the team made a surprise visit to training for the Club’s ‘Academy Fun Night’.
Andy Spence’s squad, who are currently taking part in the 2017 Spring Series, took over the evening’s session at St John Bosco with over 60 players ranging from Under 9s to Under 16s in attendance. Youngsters were able to talk to the Ladies about their experiences in the game and pick up some top tips to use on the field.
Megan Finnigan, who came through the ranks to become a first team player for Ladies, said: “We’ve had so much fun training with the Academy teams – they’re incredibly enthusiastic about football and it was great to share our passion for Everton with them.
