Everton Ladies’ preparations for their FA Women’s Cup semi-final against Arsenal on Sunday have been given a boost after Claudia Walker stepped up her comeback from a hamstring injury this week.
The influential forward was hurt in a training game back in December and needed surgery, forcing her to miss the remainder of the season.
In her absence, the Blue Girls have reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup, where they will face the Gunners at the Marine Travel Arena, with Andy Spence dividing training between USM Finch Farm and on the grass at Marine in Crosby.
