Koeman "Very Proud" Of Call-Ups

Ronald Koeman says he is “very proud” at the number of Everton players called up for international duty during the break from domestic action.

Thirteen of the Club's stars will be in action around the globe in World Cup and European Under-21 Championship qualifiers before the Toffees return with the Premier League visit of Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 9 September.

In total, eight players were initially called up by England squads alone, before Jordan Pickford and Mason Holgate withdrew from the senior and Under-21 sides respectively because of injuries.

But Koeman remains pleased that six English players - Michael Keane (senior), Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Tom Davies, Jonjoe Kenny, Ademola Lookman and Kieran Dowell (all Under-21s) - will be representing the Three Lions over the next fortnight.
