Alan Irvine has agreed to stay at West Ham as technical adviser having played a key role in their Europa Conference success last season.
Irvine, who has worked with David Moyes for two decades, scouted West Ham's opponents for all 15 of their European matches as they went on to lift their first major trophy since 1980.
As a reward, the Hammers offered the 65-year-old Scot a new 12-month contract which he signed last week as they prepare for a new campaign in the Europa League.
Irvine was Moyes' No 2 at Everton from 2004 and joined him as assistant manager at West Ham before taking on his current role in 2021 to enable him to be closer to his family in the north of England.
