Joe Ledley denies claims he laughed at Seamus Coleman suffering a broken leg: 'Those who wrongly interpreted that need their heads testing'

Wales midfielder Joe Ledley has angrily denied accusations that he laughed at Seamus Coleman's horror injury in Dublin.

Republic of Ireland captain Coleman is due to undergo surgery on Saturday after breaking his right leg during Friday night's 0-0 World Cup qualifying draw with Wales at the Aviva Stadium.

Coleman was hurt in a 69th-minute challenge by Neil Taylor, who was sent off as a result.

The Everton defender was treated at length on the pitch and was given oxygen before leaving the field on the stretcher.
