Alex Iwobi has highlighted some of the reasons behind Dele Alli's failed Everton career, revealing that the out-of-favour Toffees star couldn't be trusted by the club's coaching staff.
Alli, is currently recovering from surgery on an existing operation after seeing his loan move to Besiktas end it tatters and the playmaker return to England amid controversy.
In April, the former England international was spotted with friends, surrounded by laughing gas canisters, also known as 'hippy crack', despite not being fit to play matches.
Now, Everton team-mate Iwobi has explained the reasons why Alli's career at Merseyside failed to take-off after he was brought to the club by Frank Lampard in 2022.
