Sean Dyche takes Dwight McNeil to Crystal Palace on Monday admitting that the harsh financial realities of life at Burnley mean the brilliant young winger will be sold sooner or later.
The straight-talking Burnley manager was at odds with his board this week when he criticised their cautious approach to re-signing a number of out-of-contract first team players.
Despite those financial limitations, Burnley are level on points with Palace in the chase for a top 10 finish thanks, in no small part, to a brilliant season from ever-present McNeil.
And, with Palace just one of a number of clubs known admirers of the 20-year-old Mancunian, Dyche knows McNeil may have to leave Turf Moor to better his career prospects.
