Sam Allardyce insists he has no insecurities about his future as Everton manager and believes an upturn in results has released the pressure on his position.
Paulo Fonseca, the Shakthar Donetsk manager, has been persistently linked with Allardyce's job and was considered by the club's major shareholder Farhad Moshiri when Ronald Koeman was sacked last October.
It promises to be a summer of change at Goodison Park, with Marcel Brands - PSV Eindhoven's Sporting Director - lined up to replace Steve Walsh, Everton's Director of Football, but Allardyce, whose side face Manchester City on Saturday evening, does not fear he will be involved.
