have no chance of luring Ralf Rangnick away from RB Leipzig, according to German football expert Raphael Honigstein.
The Toffees have been linked with a shock move to make Rangnick their new boss after being frustrated in their attempts to land number one target Marco Silva.
But Honigstein has told talkSPORT that Rangnick is happy in his current role as sporting director at Leipzig and not looking to return to club management.
"I see it as a non-starter," said the respected journalist, speaking on the Hawksbee and Jacobs show.
"He is 59, he is no longer coaching, he is a sporting director at Leipzig and he is about to renew his contract there.
