England’s Under-20s side have booked their place in Sunday’s U-20 World Cup final with a 3-1 comeback victory over Italy in South Korea.
It’s the first time in 51 years that an England men’s side has reached a World Cup final.
Head coach Paul Simpson’s hopes of steering his team to glory took an early blow in Jeonju when Riccardo Orsolini put Italy in front after just two minutes.
But the Young Lions rallied after the break, with new Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke scoring twice and Everton starlet Ademola Lookman also netting to seal a 3-1 victory and a chance to claim the trophy.
