Looking for the perfect present to give your Toffee-mad Dad this Father’s Day? Why not treat him to an evening which celebrates the life and career of Everton great, Alan Ball?
‘Ball of Fire’ is a theatre production which charts the rise of Ball who, in his 61 years, became a World Cup winner and Everton legend – playing 975 matches in 21 years for seven clubs, before managing six himself.
Ball signed for Everton in 1966 after his England success, in the most expensive transfer of its time. He would later become part of the celebrated Holy Trinity alongside Howard Kendall, Colin Harvey and Ball – playing 251 games and scoring 79 goals for the Blues.
