Joan Carrillo, the manager of Hajduk Split, has warned Everton that his team will go on the attack in Thursday evening’s second leg, believing they can overturn the 2-0 lead the Blues hold from the first meeting on Merseyside.
The Spaniard acknowledged that the Croatians “competed” a week ago at Goodison Park - but insisted Hajduk will now be going all out to make it through to the group stage.
The hosts go into Thursday’s clash at the 34,000 Poljud Stadium on the back of a 4-0 away victory at Rudeš Zagreb in the Croatian top division at the weekend.
