Participants from Everton in the Community’s NCS programme recently collaborated with staff from Lloyds Bank to transform outdoor space at St Vincent’s School for the visually impaired.
EitC were approached by Lloyds Banking Group to provide a one-day CSR opportunity for their nationwide volunteer group and decided to channel their efforts into transforming the garden area at the site in West Derby.
Ten volunteers from Lloyds Bank travelled from around the country to take part, with some even journeying from as far as Southampton and Durham.
The hard-working team were led on the day by Evertonian Howard Parr, who had lined up the activity with EitC Volunteer Coordinator Ken Fullelove and EitC NCS Project Manager Joe Rowe.
