Everton in the Community hosted a private dinner at Goodison Park on Wednesday evening in honour of Governor of the Bank of England and EitC Ambassador, Mark Carney.
Mr Carney was visiting Liverpool for the 2017 Bank of England Future Forum as well as calling into schools across the city to discuss the Bank’s role in serving society. Whilst in the North West he also gladly accepted the invitation to pay a visit to Goodison Park to be updated on the works of the Club’s official charity.
Mr Carney, a lifelong fan of Everton Football Club, joined the ambassadorial arm of Everton in the Community in September 2014 in a role that sees him work with charity staff to raise the profile of their work to improve the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged people across Liverpool and beyond.
