Lewis Gibson is aiming to help Everton Under-23s to a fourth Premier League 2 win on the bounce before heading off to the Under-17s World Cup.
David Unsworth’s young Blues will be looking to continue their impressive form when they host Arsenal at Southport’s Merseyrail Community Stadium in the Premier League 2 on Monday evening (7pm kick-off).
Gibson, who was signed from Newcastle United in the summer, is expected to be named in Steve Cooper’s England Under-17s side for the World Cup in India next month and, as a result, could miss up to four Under-23s fixtures for the Toffees.
