Fulham have made a late approach to sign Bournemouth striker Josh King.
The Norwegian striker is hoping to force a move away from the championship side before the transfer window closes.
Everton made an enquiry for the 29-year-old last month and are still in the running to sign the player, with the Cherries now expecting him to leave before the window shuts.
Scott Parker had accepted that his side were unlikely to sign a striker on their tight budget this window.
However, owner Shahid Khan now appears to be willing to splash the cash in order to aid their fight against relegation.
