Matty Foulds says the Everton Under-23s squad is brimming with confidence as the young Blues prepare for their Premier League Cup game against Blackburn Rovers on Friday.
The Toffees head into the contest on the back of a hard-fought 1-0 win at Swansea City on Monday night – a result which saw them extend their lead at the top of Premier League 2 to four points.
Their attention now turns to the Cup clash at Southport FC’s Merseyrail Community Stadium (kick-off 7pm).
Everton are four points clear at the top of their group and a victory will ensure they progress into the quarter-finals of the competition.
