Everton hero Tim Cahill believes his former club are "confused" and have lost their "identity".
Cahill's criticism comes after Everton fans turned on boss Sam Allardyce during their 1-1 Premier League draw at Swansea on Saturday.
Everton fans sang "We're sh** and we're one-nil up" at half-time before singing "f*** off Sam Allardyce" after the manager replaced winger Yannick Bolasie with central defender Ramiro Funes Mori in the final quarter.
"It's confusing and I think (the fans) are confused too," Cahill, who made nearly 300 appearances for Everton between 2004 and 2012, told Sky's Goals on Sunday show.
