When the Premier League season started in early August, both Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were Arsenal players. Seven months later and they are preparing to battle against one another for their new clubs.
Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain shared much in common after coming through Southampton's fabled academy before sealing big-money moves to Arsenal at a very young age.
But both then struggled to fulfil their early promise under Arsene Wenger and opted to leave for a new challenge with Oxlade-Chamberlain joining Liverpool on transfer deadline day last summer and Walcott leaving for Everton in January.
