Becky Flaherty says she’ll be pushing Kirstie Levell all the way for the number one shirt after joining Everton Ladies.
The former Aberdeen and Liverpool goalkeeper linked up with the Blue Girls prior to the opening WSL game of the season with Birmingham City last Sunday.
And she has set her sights on competing with Centre of Excellence graduate Levell, who has started both of the Blue Girls’ opening two fixtures of the campaign, for a starting spot between the sticks.
“We will definitely push each other,” Flaherty told evertonfc.com. “We both want to play games and I think that will help us push each other because we both want to be on the pitch.
