Fans were outraged during Everton's clash with Man United, after VAR caused a three-minute delay following Beto's opener against the Red Devils.
The goal appeared to be onside when looked at with the naked eye, but the VAR felt it necessary to take their time with the call.
Beto was onside when he was slotted through by Abdoulaye Doucoure to fire in from close range.
However, following a corner moments earlier, the striker was in an offside position as he stood in front of Andre Onana.
The VAR were initially unsure whether Beto was blocking the United goalkeeper's view, likely leading to the long delay.
