Everton's January spending spree set to continue as Standard Liege accept £10m bid for striker Ishak Belfodil

Everton are closing in on their third signing of the January window after having a £10million bid accepted for Standard Liege forward Ishak Belfodil.

Ronald Koeman, Everton’s manager, had expressed his desire for the club to make significant progress this week in the transfer market after being knocked out of the FA Cup.

He has since landed his No 1 target after a £22million deal, rising to £24m, was agreed with Manchester United for Morgan Schneiderlin.
