Jim Greenwood, one of the most influential figures in Everton's history, has died.
Greenwood was appointed club secretary in 1975 and went on to become Everton's first chief executive.
He worked alongside managers such as Billy Bingham, Gordon Lee, Colin Harvey and close friend Howard Kendall during a 19 year career at Goodison and was instrumental in some of the key decisions behind the club's great success in the mid 1980s.
Indeed, it was Greenwood who switched banks so that cash-strapped Everton could finance the £60,000 purchase of Peter Reid from Bolton in 1982.
