Everton welcomed back James McCarthy to the starting line-up against Bournemouth for the first time since the 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea in October. However, the Blues continue to be without Seamus Coleman (broken leg) and Ramiro Funes Mori (knee), although Ross Barkley is in contention after recently returning to training following a hamstring injury.

Romelu Lukaku will not be available to return to Goodison Park after he was taken off on a stretcher with a head injury in Manchester United’s draw against Southampton on Saturday.
