Everton is now the 13th most valuable brand in world football, according to the leading independent brand valuation and strategy consultancy Brand Finance.
The Brand Finance Top 50 was released today and has seen the Blues climb three places after the Club’s brand value grew by 24 per cent this year to $344million (£266.5m).
The annual report on the world’s most valuable football brands reveals that Everton’s brand value increased by $65million (£50.2m) this year.
Richard Haigh, Managing Director of Brand Finance, said: “A solid season on the pitch, new major commercial deals, coupled with Liverpool City Council’s in-principle agreement on a funding model for a new stadium, have driven Everton’s 24-per-cent increase in brand value this year.
