Fraser Hornby says confidence is sky high among Everton’s Under-23s as David Unsworth’s side go to Derby County on Monday night bidding to hit the summit of Premier League 2.
Manager Unsworth has presided over an unbeaten start to the campaign, with the the young Blues' most complete display arguably coming last time out in a 3-0 dismantling of Blackburn Rovers.
Striker Hornby featured in that match at the end of August before heading off to excel on international duty with Scotland’s Under-21 team.
He scored both goals in his country’s terrific 2-1 win in Holland, lifting his tally for the week to five after blasting a hat-trick in the Scots’ 3-0 victory over Andorra.
