Everton treat 100-year-old lifelong fan to a Valentine's Day out as she dines at Finch Farm, meets the players and gets flowers from Sam Allardyce

Everton showed some extra Valentine's Day love for one veteran fan this week, treating her to a special day out at Finch Farm.

Lifelong Evertonian Dot, who turned 100 in January, was invited down to the training ground on Monday.

The day involved a fish and chip dinner, meeting the players, and even getting a bouquet from the manager, Sam Allardyce.

Arriving at Finch Farm dressed all in blue including Everton scarf, Dot was met by her FA Cup winning Valentine, club ambassador Graham Stuart, and given a tour of the facilities

The RAF veteran, who served as a typist during the Second World War, then had her meal in the Academy canteen along with her son Mike - also a season ticket holder after being taken to his first game at Goodison Park by her at age one - daughter and grandson.
