Everton will welcome League Two promotion chasers Lincoln City to Goodison Park for an FA Cup third round tie early in the new year.
Marco Silva's side were paired with the Imps in Monday night's draw, which was conducted at Stamford Bridge, home of holders Chelsea.
Everton last met Lincoln in 1993 when the teams clashed in a pair of goal-laden League Cup second round matches.
Paul Rideout scored a hat-trick and Tony Cottee added another as Howard Kendall's team won 4-3 at Sincil Bank.
Cottee struck twice and Rideout once before Ian Snodin completed the scoring in a 4-2 victory in the Goodison return to seal Everton's progress 8-5 on aggregate.
