Tim Sherwood has hailed Gylfi Sigurdsson as one of the Premier League’s best playmakers, and insists the Everton target is well worth his £50million price tag.
The Iceland international has been strongly linked with a move to Goodison Park this summer and has been the subject of a number of bids from the Toffees already.
Sigurdsson did not travel with the rest of the Swansea team for their pre-season tour of the United States, with a club statement explaining that the midfielder ‘did not feel in the right frame of mind to travel due to the current uncertainty over his future’.
