Everton striker Romelu Lukaku named player of the season as Tom Davies wins best goal and young player award

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has been named player of the season at the club's annual awards ceremony in Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Lukaku was feted at the city's Philharmonic Hall after his 24 goals in the Premier League this campaign spearheaded the club's charge back to European football after two years outside of continental competition.

The Belgian striker has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer, but Lukaku was delighted to pick up his award and is focused on ending the season on a high, starting against Watford on Friday night.

The league's top scorer picked up the main prize, but Tom Davies scooped a hat-trick of awards with the 18-year-old's goal and performance in the 4-0 win over Manchester City in January accounting for two of his gongs.
