Everton stars attend gala dinner to celebrate 30 years of the club's work in the community

Captain Wayne Rooney, manager Sam Allardyce and new signings Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun attended a star-studded event as Everton celebrated 30 years of work in the community with a gala dinner.

The entire first-team squad attended the black tie event to celebrate the achievements of the charity since its inception in 1988 at St George’s Hall in Liverpool on Tuesday night.

One of the highlights was the £250,00 raised by David Unsworth and Under-23 players to help buy a property in the city to house vulnerable young adults on the cusp of homelessness.
