Ray Wilkins has warned Everton they risk losing boss Ronald Koeman if they cannot keep hold of Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian has rejected the offer of a new five-year deal at Goodison Park, just weeks after his agent Mino Raiola told talkSPORT how the two parties were ’99.999%’ close to an agreement.

A new contract will see the Merseysiders break the £100,000-a-week wage barrier to make Lukaku the best-paid player in their history.
