Everton have expressed interest in signing Henry Onyekuru from Belgian club KAS Eupen but face competition from Monaco and Brugge.
Eupen are willing to sell the 19-year-old Nigerian winger for £7million.
Liverpool, Bournemouth, Southampton and Borussia Monchengladbach have also checked on Onyekuru who is keen to move to England.
Onyekuru is in contention to become Belgium's player of the year.
KAS Eupen occupy 13th place in the Belgian first division.
The Toffees will look to bounce back from their 3-0 thrashing by Chelsea at Goodison Park on Sunday when they travel to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea on Saturday.
