Everton are reviving their interest in Southampton right-back Cuco Martina.
Manager Ronald Koeman wants cover for the injured Seamus Coleman and saw a move for Martina collapse last summer after Southampton suffered a spate of injuries.
The 27-year-old has made 18 appearances for Southampton this season though he has not figured since January. He is out of contract in the summer.
Everton had targeted Tottenham's Kieran Trippier but he is now unlikely to leave White Hart Lane with Kyle Walker's future in doubt.
