Everton Quartet See Action In England U21 Win

No less than four Everton players saw action as England Under-21s came from behins to beat Latvia on Tuesday.

The European Championship qualifier, at the Zemgales Olimpiskais Centr in Jelgava, saw Jonjoe Kenny, Kieran Dowell and Ademola Lookman all handed starts by coach Aidy Boothroyd.

But the young Lions fell behind to Raivis Jurkovskis’s opener on 28 minutes.

But Aston Villa’s on-loan Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham headed in Mason Mount’s cross to leave it all square at the break.

Lookman was withdrawn on 63 minutes for Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon, and shortly after, Dominic Solanke picked out Mount who drilled into the net to put his side in front.
