Everton have discussed a potential January move for CSKA Moscow playmaker Alan Dzagoev.
The Russia international scored for CSKA in their 3-1 Champions League defeat by Tottenham in midweek and Everton director of football Steve Walsh was sat with the Russian club's representatives in the Wembley crowd.
Dzagoev, 26, has flirted with the idea of moving to England on numerous occasions and is keen to play in the Premier League while he is still at the peak of his powers.
Tottenham tried to sign him three seasons ago but the asking price was £25million which proved prohibitive.
