Ronald Koeman has given Ross Barkley an ultimatum and warned the midfielder he has a 'responsibility' to make a decision on his future.
The England international is yet to sign the contract that Everton had offered him. He has 13 months remaining on his current deal and Koeman wants an answer on whether he will commit before the final game of the season away to Arsenal.
Given that Barkley has gone so long without putting his name to terms, it is unlikely there will be any kind of resolution to the stand off and that will put clubs in the Premier League, notably Tottenham Hotspur, on alert to his potential availability.
