Everton are confident of completing a deal for Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour, according to reports in Spain.
The Toffees are on the hunt for new centre-backs this summer after selling John Stones to Manchester City for £50m.
The club have already snapped up Ashley Williams from Swansea, but Ronald Koeman wants one more defensive addition before the transfer window closes.
And, according to Deporte Valenciano, Everton are hopeful that a deal for Abdennour can be wrapped up this week.
Valencia are reportedly in need of some cash as they struggle to meet with FFP regulations and Everton's interest in Abdennour solves their problem.
