Everton FC transfer news: AC Milan distance themselves from permanent deal for Gerard Deulofeu

manager Vincenzo Montella has cooled talk of a move for Gerard Deulofeu by claiming the Everton winger is 'replaceable'.

The Spaniard has been on loan at the San Siro since January and has impressed in Italy with four goals in all competitions.

The 23-year-old's form has reportedly sparked interest from Barcelona, who have the option to buy him back after selling him to Everton in 2015.

Barca's buy-back clause means Milan have little say in what will happen regarding Deulofeu's future, even if they wished to snap him up permanently.

And now Montella has distanced the Italian giants from a move for the Spain international by revealing he thinks he can be replaced.
