Former Everton and England player Phil Neville has launched a stinging attack on critics of Ross Barkley, saying he 'hates' those who speak ill of the midfielder.
Barkley was the subject of criticism after a poor performance against Liverpool in their Merseyside derby defeat, but he showed his potential with a strong display against Leicester City.
Barkley produced an inch perfect cross for Romelu Lukaku to head in Everton's equaliser as they came from behind to beat the champions 4-2 at Goodison Park.

Neville, who played alongside Barkley at the start of his Everton career, said the country should get behind such a promising young English talent, and that he had no time for those who do not rate the 23-year-old.
