Everton consider sending injured loan star Armando Broja back to Chelsea - in exchange for a midfielder

Everton will explore the potential for sending Armando Broja back to Chelsea with the possibility of taking one of their midfielders in his place.

Broja joined Everton on loan last summer but arrived with fitness issues and has been restricted to just 179 minutes of action. He was injured during the FA Cup third round defeat of Peterborough and his ankle issue is likely to mean he is sidelined for three months.

With David Moyes desperate to bring in some new faces to revitalise Everton's squad, the club's recruitment team have been considering a number of options and if Broja goes back to Stamford Bridge, it raises the prospect of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall or Carney Chukwuemeka going to Goodison.
