Everton have confirmed the appointment of Ashley Cole as a first-team coach among Frank Lampard's backroom staff.
The new boss at Goodison Park was eager to recruit his former Chelsea team-mate, who has linked up with the club after working with England's Under-21s as an assistant.
Cole bolsters Lampard's team, which already includes Paul Clement, Duncan Ferguson, Joe Edwards - all first team coaches - and Head of Performance Chris Jones along with Alan Kelly, the goalkeeping coach.

Lampard said: 'I'm delighted to add Ashley into my backroom team.
