Everton are moving close to agreeing a deal with Queens Park Rangers for 18-year-old winger Josh Bowler.
Everton's first offer of £1.5m plus another £1.5m in add-ons was rejected but Bowler has asked to speak to the Goodison club.
Talks are ongoing over a compromise fee after QPR included Bowler in their first team squad that has headed to the Cascade Wellness & Lifestyle Resort in the Algarve, Portugal, for a training camp.
Bowler only signed his first professional contract in February, making his debut for QPR in their 4-0 loss at Norwich on the last day of the Championship.
