Everton and Crystal Palace charged by the FA for failing to control their players at Goodison Park after Marc Guehi's late challenge on Dominic Calvert-Lewin sparked a melee during Premier League clash

Everton and Crystal Palace have been charged by the Football Association for allegedly failing to ensure 'their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion' during Saturday's Premier League clash.

A tense encounter boiled over in the 68th minute after Marc Guehi's late challenge on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Wilfried Zaha then clashed with Anthony Gordon during a melee which resulted in four players - Guehi, Zaha, James Tarkowski and Jeffrey Schlupp - being shown a yellow card by referee Simon Hooper.
