Everton beat Sunderland at Goodison in the third-round of the Carabao Cup to finally end their torrid run of form.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin put in an impressive performance up-front for the Toffees and the youngster scored a brace to secure the much-needed win for the hosts.

Sunderland struggled to keep up with their Premier League opponents who were probably deserving of more goals on Wednesday night.
