Everton 2-2 Apollon Limassol: Wayne Rooney and Nikola Vlasic strikes go to waste as Hector Yuste seals shock draw with late header

Everton's Europa League campaign appears to be hanging by a thread after just two group games with Cypriot minnows Apollon Limassol sealing a famous draw at Goodison Park.

Adrian Sardinero originally gave Apollon the lead after 13 minutes after pouncing on a mistake from Ashley Williams before Wayne Rooney drew the game level in similar circumstances.

Nikola Vlasic appeared to have won it with his goal off the bench, but Hector Yuste's late header drew the game level and left Everton with just one point from their two group games.
