WSL sides Everton and Liverpool shared the points with a 1-1 draw in the Merseyside Derby on Friday night at Goodison Park.
Everton's Gabby George opened the scoring just before the 30 minute mark with a superb shot from an obtuse angle outside the box, but American Katie Stengel secured an equaliser for the visitors before the break.
The fixture between the city rivals was attended by 22,161 fans, and kick-started this season's Women's Football Weekend.
